Gastronomic Workshop — “Flavors & Traditions”

An experiential workshop for children aged 6-12 that combines cooking, baking, and tradition! Children make traditional sweets from different regions of Greece, learn about the customs and stories behind each recipe, and create their own “postcards” with drawings or short texts.

Through these activities, they cultivate cooperation and teamwork skills, develop creative thinking, fine motor skills, and aesthetics, become familiar with the concepts of culture, tradition, and local identity, and learn to express themselves and present their work with joy and pride. A journey of taste, creativity, and cultural experience for every child!

Guided by art and a team of passionate and experienced educators and artists, we rekindle children’s spark, enhancing their creativity, self-expression, and self-confidence, giving space to their dreams and personal development.

  • Introduction to ingredients: familiarization with basic foods, herbs, fruits, and vegetables.
  • Small cooking tasks: preparing simple recipes
  • Creativity: decorating foods or desserts with designs, colors, and shapes.
  • Learning basic hygiene rules: washing hands, keeping the kitchen clean.
  • Teamwork & cooperation: Children learn to work in small groups.
What are the benefits for the child?

How do you manage allergies?

We request written notification of any food allergies/special dietary requirements so that appropriate adjustments can be made.
